A THIMBLE OF THEORY: EXPLORING THE BODY AS A GARDEN
with Chase Connolly
Friday, January 15th (2pm-3pm)
Price: FREE with subscription to The Digital Studio
In the Katonah practice we use many metaphors to understand the body. Just as we would compare the body to a house or a car, we can also look at the body as a garden, to connect our experience of the internal to the quiet knowledge that surrounds us within the cycles of Great Nature. When we begin to build our internal gardens, we can follow the energies from the primal level of desire and basic needs winding up the central spit of the body like a beanstalk winding its way around a trellis. Flowering in the space of our radiance to be available for connection and communication with the world around us and finally rising up to the next dimension as the fruit produces seeds for the next revolutionary cycle. Much like time spent in the garden, we must become very still and quiet to fully awaken to the universal principles that are playing out directly in front of our eyes and deep within ourselves.
Join Chase Connolly for a workshop exploring the metaphor of the body as a garden. A mini lecture will be followed by a Q&A discussion session, so be sure to bring any questions, confusions or conundrums you may have related to this topic.
