A THIMBLE OF THEORY: STUDENTSHIP
with Alex Sharry

Friday, April 9th (2pm-3pm)
Price: FREE with subscription to The Digital Studio

What does it mean to be a student? And how can our relationship to being a student, then inform how we are as teachers? Just as we use theory to unearth patterns in our personal histories to augment the moment we are in and where we are headed, it's important to track the history of our education, being a student and learning to better understand how we teach. What old patterns and learned behaviors exist there that we can become aware of and augment to be less hierarchical and oppressive and more communal and expansive.

Join Alex for a workshop where we will discuss how to be more powerful educators by reflecting on our own experiences - the incredible and the awful - of being students. While this may sound geared solely to teachers, every one and anyone can benefit from trailing back to our origin story of studentship. This workshop will be interactive, so come prepared to chat.

The Thimble of Theory workshop series is FREE and open to subscribers of The Digital Studio only. Not subscribed? Join now to gain access to new classes every week, as well as special perks like live workshops and discussion sessions.

Zoom link to join the discussion will be sent directly to all subscribers of The Digital Studio 30 minutes before the start of the session.
