WHAT DREW YOU TO KATONAH YOGA?

I was drawn in by the integrity of the practice in summation. From the metaphors to the adjustments, the philosophy to the physics, the material adds up.

HOW HAS KATONAH YOGA CHANGED YOUR PRACTICE & TEACHING?

Katonah Yoga has helped me to really take responsibility for my practice, my body, and my life. As a student, I have learned techniques to deal with old injuries and chronic discomforts. As a teacher, I have learned how to set up conditions for students to get their insights, empower themselves to become more expressive, and practice radical acts of embodiment.

HOW HAVE YOU SEEN KATONAH YOGA CHANGE STUDENTS?

People change so magnificently, so personally. I see students become more themselves, more comfortable, more confident, more competent. It is powerful and affirming to learn how to care for one's own precious life, to have experiences of depth and height, to land more fully and sensually awake in one's intelligent flesh.

Our bodies are not abstract, they are not delusional, they are the home of reality. Our bodies and minds have never been split, although we have felt them to be, together they are symphonies of polyglot: polyrhythmic conversations.
