According to traditional Chinese medicine, longevity is directly affected by what we eat. Many conditions can be improved by choosing the right things to eat. All food has therapeutic properties, some being more yin in quality and some being more yang. When we eat food, we are linked with the elements of the outside world. For optimal health, meals should be varied and balanced according to the changes of time and season as well as the taste and nature of foods. If we are struck ill, it is the result of an imbalance in our bodies. By readjusting the relationship between the organs, through what we eat, we can restore balance and good health.

Join us for a series of workshops led by Master Hou, that will explore how the food we eat directly relates to our health and well being. Each workshop will build on the last as we explore how we feed ourselves both physically and energetically, for the optimal functioning of our forms.
